For art this week we decided I wanted to look at Zentangle and Tapa design. I looked up many designs on Zentangle and Tapa and cominded the two art and made my own art piece. Here is my art work.

 

Museum Trip (Music and Dance)

On Monday 4th November me and some other group of students went to the museum to learn about Music and dance. I learnt the history about Music and dance and different kind of music and dance they used in different countries. Here are some pictures of my trip. For writing this week my class and I looked at writing a poem. We wrote poems about our-self and had to express our feelings in our writing. Here is my I am me poem. 

I AM 

I am a girl No less than a pearl

I wonder why I am never good enough in this world

I see myself crying into tears wanting to give up already.

I want this journey of pain to stop

I hear the inspirational words come out of my mother's mouth that I try to fulfill, but I never do

I am a girl No less than a pearl

I pretend that there's no reason to hate life, no reason to let it win. But the truth is that I do hate life and I'm tempted to give in.

I touch the painful bruises on my skin 

I worry that people will no longer want me in their lives

I cry for help to be on its way

I am a girl No less than a pearl

I understand why life isn’t always easy 

I say Father, forgive these people and forgive me for what I have done wrong

I dream to go back in time and take away my sad moments

I try to understand the purpose of life 

I hope that my parents will accept and appreciate me for who I am

Silhouette Art

For art this week my class and I decided we would create a silhouette art. We looked at some of different pictures to inspire us on what we wanted draw. This is what I drew and some of my class mates drawings. 

Kiwi Can Champs

On Thursday my class won Kiwi Can. We had lots of fun games and a massive shared Lunch. We had so much fun and was so tired at the end of the day. Here are some photos and videos of our Kiwi Can win.

Cross Country

Today for cross country we had year group run together and it was a challenging day for most of us. I had to vs year 8 students cause I am a year 8 and didn't come any place but still managed to finish the coarse. It was a long as run but I kept my head up high and kept pushing to the finish line. After a full 2 hours our school decided to finish of the day with some Zumba. Here are some photos and videos from my cross country and Zumba. Tennis

This week we did tennis for our Kiwi sport . It was really fun because we learnt how to play Tennis .

Pizza - Cooking Tech

Ingredients

Step 1- Paste the top of the pizza bread with tomato sauce . 

Step 2- Dice red pepper, tomato red onion ham. 

Step 3- Spread all your vegetables, ham, cheese, pineapples, and bake for 15 minutes.

Tuna Salad - Tech Cooking

Tuna Salad 

Step 1 - Boil  the pasta with 2 1/2 of cold water until it is soft, drain under cold water using a colander.
Step 2 - Dice, onion, red pepper.
Step - Mix all with mayonnaise
Step - 4 - Server on white plate and take a picture

Quick Write(Writing)

For one of my writing activities this week. I had to write a story about an image I looked at and create a writing piece out of it. Here is my Quick Write. 

Cooking Fettuccine

For tech this week we made Fettuccine pasta. We had so much fun making this meal. Here are the steps on how to make it and the finish product.  

Fettuccine

Step 1 - Boil Fettuccine with 2 cups of water until its soft

Step - Fry the mince with onion until it is cooked

Step 3 - Scrape zucchini using the vegetable cutter

Step 4 - Combined all the ingredients

Step 5 - Add all the spices and cream together 

Cooking English Breakfast

 For tech this week we made English breakfast and learnt how to cook at home and use a oven and stove properly. Here are the steps and a photo of what I cooked. I hope you guys enjoy and leave a positive message. 

Maths IXL

For math's today I wanted to challenge myself and complete a skill. I piked a skill that I have been practicing with my teacher and tried to finish it. I was so happy at the time I spent on the skill. The skill that I accomplished was Identify and classify polygons. Here is my results on the skill I finished.
