SLC-Student Led Conference

My imaginary monster

For writing this week I had to imagine that I had a pet monster and write and describe how he looks. Here is my monster.  Hope you enjoy

Meet my monster is called Samantha Bob Marley Ahokava Huch. Samantha Bob Marley Ahokava Huch has long brown hair that covers his face and wears a brown purple grass skrit.
Her tail is fluffy and short like my sisters hair Lesieli. She flicks her tail up and down and it makes me giggle.

She has great extended pink bloody spots around her face and also have chubby cheeks like a panda bear. She is 3 foot tall and weighs 36 pounds. She has amazing shiny purple sharp teeth. She has a sloppy long bright pink wet tongue poking out of her mouth.

She lives in my closet door next to my bed, In winter time I'll always hear her snoring loud like a pig. Sometimes I run to my parents like at 4 in the morning because I am terrified like someone was in my house. She can go and sneak under my bed to find old stinky socks. She can chew super slow like a turtle and it sometimes gives me goose bumps. My monster Samantha Bob Marley Ahokava Huch is my only one true best friend in the whole wide world. The END ......

My mate is a hero!

For writing this week we had to write about a story and describe about a imaginary hero that saved our lives. Here is my writing. Hope you enjoy.

My mate is a hero!

My mate Clark, has brown curly bushy hair. He has light blue eyes and chubby cheeks. He is a generous man and also a life saver. One day I got a call from Clark and said that he was going to fight against thee evil people that wanted to destroy our city and asked if I wanted to help him and his other mates. Then I said sure why not.

When the evil people entered the city there were many huge and strong people, then they started charging towards us and we ran and hid and tried to fight. When I was trying to fight them I got shot in the leg and blood ran down my leg and I couldn't even move a thing. Then suddenly Clark appeared in a helicopter and saved my life from dying. Then I told him thank you very much for saving my life.

When we were in the helicopter he said that I wasn't able to fight anymore cause I was injured then I just respected what he said. When I arrived home my mum and sister took me to the hospital and looked after me while my friend was going back to fight and save peoples lives.

When I was able to go back home and rest I was able to contact him again.

When my mum came back from work and looked in the mailbox she saw a letter from Clark’s parent and she gave it to me and I read it out loud. Then suddenly the sentence that I read strikes me and I felt so sad that the person that saved my life have passed away and has gone to a safe place.

As soon I read the letter I wanted to contact Clark's parents and tell them how much Clark done for my life. When I rang up Clark's parents and told them about him, we were poured with tears on our faces. We can’t forget how much Clark has done for me and his family and how he was a good fighter.

Writing is GOLD

This week with Ms Wrack we had started to find ways how to write and why we need to read our writing. She taught us that our is gold we have to read our write like its GOLD and write like its gold. Here is my piece of writing. 

I felt the freezing cold water crash between my legs

I saw soldiers charging towards a safe place to save their lives

I heard intense piercing gun shots passing my ear and heading towards the air.

I felt my chest pounding so momentary like it never happened in my life.

I saw bullets sticking out from my friends deformed body 

I heard soldiers scream in a displeasing way. 

I smelt gun smoke coming behind me almost about to destroy my lungs.

I tasted the salt water coming from the ocean and about to give me a heart attack

Anzac Peek

For ANZAC day we had to write a story about this Image. Here is my story. Hope you enjoy. 

As I walk on sidewalk on a beautiful fine dazzling clear morning, with a smile on my face. Sprinting towards the bright red poppies,remembering those who fought to save our country. While I am walking I have a look down and see the remarkable sparkling ocean. I tilted my head and jogged a little to the left and saw the spectacular view from the rough stony sidewalk of the cliff.

The Prediction on what might happen on Friday.

On Friday the 13th I think our school is going to have a fun house caption day. Like we are gonna come in our house team color ad play games in our group and also have a water slide. There might be a sausage sizzle and a ice-blocks.  We will might not even do any work if that day is sunny because our teacher says it's the last day of the term. They might sale the Ice-blocks for $1.00 and the sausage sizzle for $1.00 to. They might even sale the water for cheap like 50 cents. 

The Zirka circus

On Saturday I and my Young sister and older sister and her husband went to the circus. Here is my story. Hope you enjoy. 

One day on a Saturday evening I and my little sister and my older sister and her husband planed to go to the Zirka circus. We got ready and of we went to the circus. When we got there their was a food store and heaps of people. After a few minutes the show started. It was amazing their was little kids my age and adults too. After the first hour was finish we had to wait there for 15 min till the second hour started. When the 15 min was over the second hour started. There was heaps of magic tricks. When the show ended we went somewhere to eat. I wish I could go to the circus again. 

Survival of the FUNKIEST!

My Story called the survival of the FUNKIEST.

Who: Max Stone, David Dazzle, Jazzy Razz, Mrs What-a-Shocker and Ruby Jones.

Where: In school time.

What: He would always move around and his writing and reading would be ghastly

Why: Because he hated school.

When: In the morning at assembley.

Max Stone hated school. It was boring for him. He would always fidget and make silly sounds. Max had a partner her name was Ruby. Max would  always do things with Ruby. But one morning Max and his partner Ruby didn't know that they had won a place on the Brain show. Max learnt again that brains work in many different and interesting ways!

Would I read this book again? Yes I would want to read this book again because it show how you can do anything if you believe in it.

What I like about this book was the faith and strength Max and Ruby had. They now will always remember that brains work in many different ways!

I am a learner who loves to learn and help others especially my 2 teacher’s Mrs faalili and Whaea Pene. I am Tongan and I also have seven members in my family. This year I am looking forward to becoming a great role model to younger kids and a stronger year 7. At school I really enjoy learning things I haven’t done before and also P.E. I also enjoy trying new challenges that are hard for me. In my spare time I love to write stories and poems about things that mean to me. My goals this year is to try my best in all I do and try to be careful on what I say. The person that inspire me to do my best would be my mum she is one of the persons that I would look up to she pushes me to try my best and give’s us advice to never give up on what I do. My experience I had on Saturday

For Literacy today I had to write about what I did in the weekend that made me not to come to the family dun day. Hope you enjoy.

Early on Saturday morning I, my sister, my mum and my friend woke up early in the morning around 5.30 and went to the pools at Glen Innes around 7.00 for a swim. We swam until 10.00 am and went home to get ready to go to me and my sister music lessons that started at 10.30 am and finished at 11.30 am and came back home and packed some lunch while my mum went to pick my dad up from work and came back home to get us and off we went to Hamilton to visit my uncle who is sick at the moment. While we were siting at the back we got board and decided to play a game called bust stop. When the game got boring we just fell asleep. When we arrived there we gave them some fish and fruit's. After that we played with our cousins and ate there. Then it was time for us to go home and we said bye to them and of we go home. when we arrived home we were exhausted and we went straight to sleep.

At school our teachers gave some of us a opportunities to give a try for house captain leader. We had to write our own speech why we should become a house captain leader and get them to vote for us. Here is my speech. Hope you enjoy.

I will also show you fire and ace in what I do and say. I am great and bold never quitting I have the heart of gold I lead by example I show what to do I empower people to be a TEAM And make them realize to follow their dream. Women at Work (Bonus Activity)

For my 24th activity I had to ready a story and finish it of with my own words 8-10 sentences. Here is what I have done hope you enjoy.

One day you are walking along the deck of the ship when you hear a loud bang. You start to run as you see smoke coming from the far end of the ship. You run towards the room where your patients are waiting to receive treatment from the doctor. Just as you arrive at the door to their room you hear another loud bang and you… 8-10 sentences

I take a breath now and I take another one.  I run towards the other patients room. While I am running I here another bang. I walk into the room quietly and softly. I looked around but I don’t see anyone. I say to myself they are dead. As I walk out of the room I hear another bang near me. I run as fast as I could to the other patients room trying to get me there as safe as I could, then bang I hear. I walk in there sweetly and calmly. I look towards to the bed I never believed my eyes. I caught them dying in the bed never knowing how. As I am about to turn around to walk out the door I hear a noise near me. I turn around not even a inch BANG the gun went towards me. It was the end of my life I could not believe this happened to me. The end
