For my 12th activity I had to look at the phrase I had been given and I had to translate them into English and Maori . Here is what I have done. Hope you enjoy.

  2. Hi Moni!

Great job translating these phrases, it can be hard learning a language, but google translate can be helpful when we need to know how to say something in another language. Do you learn Maori at school?

I also like how you presented it in coloured text and put both translations in for us! Did you find the task easy?

    Well done!

    Nicky :)

This activity was not that hard it was pretty easy because of the google translation it helps me a lot. At school I do learn Maori and I learn all the things I need to know in Maori.

      Thank you

    2. Hi Moni,

That's good, and I'm sure you've learnt a few of them at school anyway. That's great that you learn so much Maori at school. Do you learn or know any other languages?

  4. Hello Moni,

Wow! Go you! That's awesome that you can learn all of those languages and especially, Tongan, considering you are Tongan. Do you speak Tongan at home with your family?

I only speak English at home unfortunately. I would love to speak a second language. I know some Maori and am planning on learning more this year. I learnt some Turkish when I was in Turkey a few years ago and know a few words but not enough to have a conversation. Merhaba means hello in Turkish! :)

    Güle güle (good bye), Nicky
